CS Executive Module

The CS (Company Secretary) is a 3-year professional course equivalent to a UG degree. It includes 3 level of exams which includes: foundation, executive and professional level exams. 

The qualification for each of the exam differs from each other. Also, company secretary aspirants need to crack all the three exams to get certified as a company secretary. The exam for CS is conducted by the only recognized professional body in India to develop and regulate the profession of Company Secretaries i.e., the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). The executive program for Company Secretary is for students who have graduated / cleared CSEET. This course is the second level for Company Secretary exam. A candidate who have passed the CSEET, CS Foundation Programme, ICAI Final Course and ICMAI Final Course or Graduation in Arts, Commerce or Science or Equivalent students

• A CS advises the board on the best practices in corporate governance. He gives advice on areas like security laws, corporate laws, etc.
• A CS not only holds a high position in the management hierarchy but the role is highly accountable both within and outside the organization.
• Company Secretary has been recognized as Key Managerial Personnel along with the CEO ⁄ Managing Director ⁄ Manager and Chief Financial Officer.
• A CS may work in the stock exchange, company affairs department, law board, and various government departments.
